Reliance Retail in talks to acquire Future Lifestyle's “Cover Story” brand for Rs.200-Cr

Future Lifestyle Fashions Ltd (FLF) lender Edelweiss is in talks with Reliance Retail to sell fast-fashion brand Cover Story for INR 200 crore while the Kishore Biyani-owned retail firm is in talks with Thrasio-style GOAT Brand Labs and Mensa Brands to sell apparel labels Jealous 21 and aLL. Cover Story, mortgaged with Edelweiss Asset Management, was launched six years ago to take on global fast fashion brands Zara and H&M. aLL caters to the plus-size market. Jealous 21 is a women's wear label.
